    Hi,

    Thank you for the post.

Please make sure that SharePoint is not installed on the same server.  Even if it is removed, there will most likely be settings that be altered preventing the new install from being successful.  We should try to make sure that SharePoint and Exchange was never installed on the server that FPSMC is going to be installed on.

    Environmental Considerations

The following are the environmental considerations:

FPSMC will not install on a server running any other Forefront product.

FPSMC will not install on a server running any version of Microsoft Exchange Server or Microsoft SharePoint Server.

FPSMC will not install on a domain controller.

FPSMC must be installed on a domain-joined server.

.NET Framework 3.5 SP1 must be installed on servers managed by FPSMC.

    Hi Nick,

I am aware of all this requirements and this is live production SCOM Server only.

The only possible conflict product could be the Forefront Endpoint Protection Client! is this product included in the first environmental considerations ? because this is our main antivirus client ! and the FEP Manager installed on the SCCM server not the SCOM one :)

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

“The only possible conflict product could be the Forefront Endpoint Protection Client! is this product included in the first environmental considerations ?” – As far as I know, you can install FPSMC on a FEP installed server. You may configure the IIS Default Web Site with the IP address set to All Unassigned and see if it helps.
