AnswerError installed AEM

    Hi all, i try to installa AEM into a windows 2003 server with sql 2005 but at the end i receive this error message:
    ERROR 1001. ERROR EXECUTING SQL SCRIPT -> MUST DECLARE THE SCALAR VARIABLE @MACHINEID.
    Into SQL i set SQL 2000 COMPATIBILITY.
    Can you help me?

    Hi,

     

    Thank you for posting.

     

    As far as I know, AEM does not support SQL Server 2005. If you run SQL Server 2005, you must select the Express install mode (MSDE) option during the AEM setup process.  AEM can use SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE), or an existing local or remote SQL Server 2000.

    In addition to Nick's comments, it's worth noting that FSSMC (Forefront Server Security Management Console) does support SQL Server 2005 and can manage both Antigen 9 and Forefront for Exchange/Sharepoint 10 installations.

    I would install FSSMC instead of AEM, if possible.
