    Hi everyone,

i've setup a batch file, which calls a programm to installing softwareupdates.

I've added this batch as shutdown script in gpedit.msc.

In the logs, i recording i see that the batch is failing due to non existing administrator rights.

How to run a shutdown script as admin?

    Thanks for your help

PS: i am running win xp pro sp2

You cannot run Windows update as a shutdown script.  Set your systems for auto-update or use WSUS.

If you have vendor specific updates you can deploy them using GP Software Distribution.  Contact vendor for instructions.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
