WMI Filter for GPO multiple filters
-
Friday, October 16, 2009 5:37 PMIs there a way to filter both Model and OSArchitecture in a wmi filter? ie "filter for 32bit Dell Latitude"
I know how to filter for each seperately but is there a way to filter via a single script within a WMI Filter (GPO)?
what i am attempting to do is install Dell OMCI via GPO.

I am trying to clear up the older open posts on this forum. If this is still an unresolved issue for you please let me know. If you do not post back within one week I will assume it is resolved and will close this thread.
Thank you

Ed, why mark a non-answer as an answer? Delete the post if anything.
Anyway, I was looking for this too, and found this:

look in the table below and you'll see a few filters that combine queries with AND / OR

Ed, why mark a non-answer as an answer?
The reason is that he personally doesn't have time to research an answer to every question, and as I understand it Microsoft looks at forum "unanswered" metrics. In addition, this is really a GPO question and not really a scripting question per se.

Yes, I know this. It was more of a complaint than an actual question. Marking non-answers as answers, just so his paperwork looks good is not something he should be doing. Plus if he doesn't have time to research something, fine. Leave it alone.
As of this moment, this page has 2118 views. Thats 2117 other people that found this post looking for an answer only to have their time wasted.

Sorry you're unhappy, but keep in mind that a peer-to-peer discussion group does not come with a service level agreement. (Also note that the question was mistargeted in the first place, so it's not surprising there's no answer.)
