How come access is not allowed through Powershell commands to read eventlogs even though I'm in the event log readers group and can access them via the event log viewer?

PowerShell commands have  no problems with event logs.

    Your question Is too vague.

One warning - only administrators can read the security log.

Nevermind, I found the solution to delegating this to a non-administrator.

Since this question has nothing to do with scripting it should probably be moved to the N/A forum.

There doesn't seem to be an N/A forum, but it sounds like something that would be eminently useful at times...
