Unanswered Outlook,, adding my Shaw Webmail contacts! pls help

     I am trying to import my contacts to outlook from shaw webmail. When i am importing in outlook I am getting an error message that says "Afile error has occurred in the Comma Seperated Values (DOS) translator while initializing a translator to build a field map",,,,,, then in new paragraph in same message "outlook was unable to retrieve the data from the file "C:\Users...ect." Verify that you have the correct file, permission to open and that it is not open in another program. I made the excel file that it was saved in a trusted file and the downloaded a trusyed site. The file wasn't open anywhere else and it was done the way Outlook help told me to do it. Any suggestions???????????
