How to restore booting configuration

Friday, January 20, 2012 5:52 PMI have a 500 Gb hard disk with windows server software installed and updated. I decided to reduced disk size to create a new partition. After I reboot the system the booting drivers got lost or corrupted and windows doesn´t start. The server keep sending the message: No boot file received, Boot failed. Like I need to install other applications I didn´t create a backup image. All files are inthe disk. I could see them through the Repair option of the Installation disk. Is there any way I could recover that without having to perform a new clean installation again? Joe
