Questioncannot stop an error message appearing when I go into my mail

    I have been receiving an error message for weeks now and it will not go away.  It tells me it is a windows live mail error ID OX800cccOD.  It says the host SMTP could not be found and please verify that you have enterred the server name correctly.  I do not understand what it is telling me and I dont know what to do.  Have tried folling the help line answers but to no avail.  I am new to computing so I am very green with these problems.  Can anyone help please?
