Hi,
My PC has XP installed (I am using my laptop for this) when I turn it on the message that comes up is DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK & PRESS ENTER. My question is what is the system disk???? and how can I fix it?

This question is more appropriate for the Windows Answers Forum at the following address
http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_xp
Anyway, I suggest you to try executing the Recovery Console (read the Microsoft Knowledge Base article that you can find at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654/en-us) and repairing the current Windows XP installation; also verify that very cable inside the compyter's cabinet is properly connected and that the BIOS settings are right.
Bye
