As already stated these cannot be changed through "Device Status Viewer". This utility works on OMA DM objects, and there is no easy interface for you to execute your own OMA DM commands. (It can be done, but it takes some work, and is usually not necessary.)

You can modify most of them through OMA CP though, and through creating cab files. The best place to start would be the Configuration Service Provider reference material in the MSDN library:

No, as far as I know you're only able to view with this utility. You can however use some of the things as a basis for creating your own provisioning documents (and change the settings).

You can change most of these settings, but not using the "Device Status Viewer".  I assume you are referring to the "Management Objects". Since they are Management Object, I guess you can manage them ;-) There are a lots of exceptions ! Available Storage, Battery Strength etc. can't be modified.
"IPSecVPN -> DisplayName" and "DeviceEncryption -> EnabledLocal" can be change through GPO.

What settings do you want to modify?

yes, i refer to the management objects.

What settings do you want to modify?

i want to change all possible keys for instance:
the values in the part EMAIL2 or VPN or Sync etc.

sometimes i found some of the values in the in the registry of windows mobile but not all.....
    are there any special tool?

    thanks!

    thanks for your fast answer.

okay now i know haw it works.

but can you please explain me how i can change the different values. yur website told me that it is possible to add, to delete, to replace etc. values. furthermore
the differnet information on the website explained that i have to create an special xml file and then send it per mail do my mobile devices. then these xml file will be start automatically and change the values.

iam a little bit confused because from my point of view it should be possible to change the values with the help of the command "New-MDMInventoryItem" in the mobile powershell, or? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd261857.aspx

!!please tell me if there any connection between "creating an xml file and send in per mail" and "changing the values with the help of the command New-MDMInventoryItem" maybe iam totally fail....?

    THANKS!

    Ameo,

Most of the VPN settings can be set throught Group Policy Objects. Most of the Sync settings can be set through Group Policy Objects. Can't access the MAIL seetings on my device, so can't comment.

The rest can be set as explained by Andreas.

Which specific settngs do you need to change... please don't say "All of them" !
New-MDMInventoryItem is not going to help you. It is very much a "GET" command and you need a "SET" command.

i don´t think that this is a problem

of course there is the command "Set-MDMInventoryItem". can these command change the values? or do i really need an xml file?

    thanks!
