Unable to move flagged messages to folders in Outlook 2002

When I try to move a message to a folder that I have previously flagged (whether the flag has been cleared or not), instead of moving the message, Outlook will instead often open the message in Word as if I had selected "Reply". It will do this whether I am simply attempting to drag the message from my Inbox to a subfolder, or if I go to the Edit/Move to Folder menu item. Why is this, and how do I get it to stop?

Cells C3 – H3 add 1.5 days to the date in Cell B3 by adding at the rate indicated in Cell B1. Note that it adds every 1.5 days in sequence. I want to be able to do two things:
1. Exclude weekends
2. For it to Re-Calculate every time we change the rate in Cell B1

Windows Server 2003 sp2 DC adprep /forestprep

Our company has all Windows Server 2003 DC's with sp2. We want to extend the schema for R2 Support to take advantage of the new features. We currently have added a remote site which has a Windows 2003 DC in our current Active Directory Domain, but is currently not communicating to the domain (there is no physical connection between main office and this remote office). Our intention is to add a physical connection in about a month.

My question is this: Should we do the schema update while this DC is unavailable? What technical ramifications could this cause?

Boss is anxious to extend the schema now and upgrade some of our member servers to R2. I am hesitant in updating the schema while this DC is not reachable. My suggestion is to wait until the DC is available and connected to main office. What I need is actual technical evidence that updating the schema with an absent DC may cause AD problems.

Your input would be appreciated.

I did the dvds recovery for my presario,windows vista home basic,32 bit.
I hear about this clean installs,descarting the bloatware.

I never used the recovery dvds,I suppose the # 1 contains the windows vista OS.
Can I just IInstall # 1 ,and descard the rest,and it will work ?

I have just came to realize a pretty big flaw in this website. As much as I love the ranking stystem, I don't like how the MSFT workers can right away mark their answers as 'answered', where as the rest of us we propose it untill the author of the question marks it for us (or an MSFT member). I don't believe that this much power should be given to certain people no matter how much more information they posses over us. What do you guys think?

Reading 3.5 floppies in a vista machine

Customer needs a 3.5 floppy drive either internal or external (usb) to read floppy. The pc will recognize drive in Vista but wants to format disk therefore not able to read disk. In XP it will work fine. This has been tested in Dell and Lenovo machines. Same result.

We are pushing out a new PPT template where slides start in paragraph mode instead of initial bullets. We want to give users the option to assign bullets but there is an alignment issue on the test.

The formatting of level one in the Master is set to "no indent" so that subsequent lines in that level will line up properly with the first line. A bullet requires a first line indent therefore if a user prefers a bullet for level one, it requires them to either modify level one of the master if they wish this to be the format throughout the presentation or that individual line can be modified.

If alignment is corrected in the master for level one in the event the user uses the bullet option, you will NOT have proper alignment if the level one is paragraph mode (no initial bullet). NOT IDEAL. You can't have it both ways in the master - and we were hoping to not have to create multiple masters.

Any advice?

F8 key does not work when installing XP on a new SATA HD

Trying to install XP on a new sata hd, pressed f6 OK and installed the sata driver from a usb floppy. I then get to the MS agreement page but the f8 key does not work so cannot get any further. Am using a new MS digital media 3000 keyboard. Help!! Any ideas? I've googled the problem and I can find other users experiencing the same problem but they are installing XP on a Mac. My PC is a Dell.

I have tested the sample for creating a driverpack and add a driver to this driverpack. This sample does not work in
my environment.

I try to use the AddDriverContent rutine in the SMS_DRIVERPACK wmi class. But it fails every time.

Can someone help answer my concern? I installed Windows 7 and it went on automatically to update by itself. After that when I restarted, a dialog box appeared that the update for PCI memory controller has failed and couldnot find the device.

I am running Windows 7 and Office 2007 on my laptop. I would like to download the Office 2010 beta and become familiar with it as I am an Access developer. However, I have seen cautions about downloading it and installing it on a primary machine. I would like to test the beta but I do not have a 2nd machine for testing purposes. Is there a way using my Windows 7 machine to test the beta? I don't want to have to go through a re-install and if it is extraordinarily complicated I had better wait for the full release, but just thought I would ask.

Is there any tutorial to teach writing coded UI tests without a builder? The action recorder is good, but the generated codes are too difficult to read anyway and too complicated to me. I tried to launch a AUT (Calculator) by calling ApplicationUndeTest.Launch() method, and then trying to find a button to click. I am running Windows Vista, I believe S.P.2. Windows Update continually fails to install all recommended (& other) updates. It says "install failed, error (Code 80070490)".
I am also having problems with Win. Defender failing to initialize on startup (I believe this may have to do with Mcafee clashing with Defender).
Mcafee virus scan not running & when i try to run it manually it says "scan failed to start, result=2147467259"
I am having problems with hardware, such as; DVD/CD drive not working/recognized (yet if i change boot settings to boot DVD/CD drive 1st it will read the drive), various USB devices not working or having ti reinstall drivers to use them, sound has stopped working twice & the keyboard as well on a number of occasions.
Sometimes my computer crashes or restarts. I.E. stops working occasionally, sometimes it recovers.
It got to the stage where i had to restore the system to an earlier backup point just to get Windows or anything to start. Since then the computer runs but i still have all these problems.
I have checked driver updates which seem to be up to date.
I am reluctant to do a complete system restore, as i cannot use DVD/CD drive to back up personal files (mainly photos & music) or a USB flash drive as it doesn't seem to be recognized (even though it says 'driver is installed & device ready to use' in the taskbar at bottom right of the screen.
Is there a solution to at least get my DVD/CD drive working firstly, so i can backup files. Then deal with the rest of the issues?

I have been able to cut and paste the MSO1033.acl file between computers so I have some of them, but how do I transfer the normal.dot document over to word 2007? I tried saving the normal.dot document from Word 2002 as normal.dotm, but it doesn't work. I'm a medical transcriptist so I really need those entries. Thanks in advance for any help.

I just got a used Compaq, S4020WM, from a friend who had not used it for a couple of years. I put AVG 9.0 on first thing than tried to update from the Mirosoft Update site. When I clicked on the Express botton the green bar would be going still if I didn't stop it. When I stopped it the computer froze up, I could go to start and shut it down or restart it. I tried to donw load Internet Explore 7 and it would go as far as downloading updatews foe IE7 and the green bar would just go & go, but I couldn't close it down I had to shut the computer off. I has able to download and install XP3. I have tried to download updates and IE7 and still no go, same as before. Can you help Me Thanks, Bill

I have been using the McAfee Internet Security Suite provided by my ISP (AOL). Recently, I purchased, downloaded and installed a registry cleaner program named RegGenie. I ran a scan using RegGenie on my PC (Windows XP Home). The next time I tried to open the Security Center of the Internet Security Suite, it failed to open and I recived an error message stating that a .dll file was missing. Apparently, the RegGenie scan had removed the .dll file required to open the Security Center.

In RegGenie Help, I found a procedure "How to enter program exclusions (Ignore Keys)". The first step in the procedure has me click on "Settings" on the main menu of RegGenie and then click on the "Ignore Keys" tab. The second step requires me to "Enter registry key matches for RegGenie to ignore". I'm not sure what registry key matches are required so that the McAfee Internet Security Center will be ignored on a scan by RegGenie.

There is a list of options for a scan by RegGenie and one of the options is "Shared .dll files". I could uncheck that option prior to a registry scan. However, I don't think that the .dll file used to open the Security Center is a "shared" file.

New computer bought just for use with Bernina 430. CD for Art Design V1 and EConPC V2.1 hangs on install. Wants the old Sync from Windows XP. Is this an issue for Bernina? I've downloaded updates from them and from Windows. Any ideas

Keyboard and Mouse stop working after Windows Vista boots up

We have a Dell Inspiron 530 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 BIT. The system boots up but when it gets to the sign-on screen the keyboard and mouse will not work. I have tried unplugging the mouse and keyboard and plugging back in after start up. Also reinstalling Windows Vista with the disc, resetting back to an earlier date. Nothing is working. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

My HP Printer is sometimes printing documents that are illegible. Also I get ocassional jamming of paper. I ran the "HP Diagnostics" and it found no problems.
I was told there is a section where you can click on to correct the allignment. I went to Control Panel and brought up the Printer. However, I could not find any fixes for it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Tech world I have a Digital Camcorder Combo FC F3356771 The Sharper Image.It is a 11 fuction Camara, Camcorder,Radio, P.C. Cam, MP-3, MP-4 player and so on. Problem I am having is when I run the install disk { MDV-241 Digital Camcorder Software VideoManager } everything will install But when it gets to the PC Cam part of the install in the VideoManager I get a pop up saying that the .net frame work is not campatable with the .net frame work on my laptop. Granted now I keep everything up to date on my laptop. I tryed serching for a driver for this thing { MDV-241 Digital Camcorder Software Video Manager } but no hopes in finding it yet. Everything works on the unit But I just can't get the install for the Camara to work as a PC Cam. Can anyone help with this if so Please shoot me an email to musicianjr@live.com
