    Hi,

I am planning to deploy "Stirling" inside a VM.

My physical server will have Win 2008 server Core as a root partition while child partitions will have Win 2008 Full edition.

As we know "Stirling" can not be deployed inside Core edition but can I deploy it in Full edition(child partition) without caring that it's root partition is a Core edition ?????????

Yes that is possible.  This is what makes virtualization better, since you can deploy more child partitions on top of the core partition and it does not care.  I have even done this with TMG and it works without any problems.
