In the first version of Forefront it was possible to install the client as a standalone by using the /NOMOM switch.

Is there a way to do this with Stirling?

I want to have a look at the user interface without all the server clutter at this point.

Apologies if this has been asked before.

    Thanks

    Hello,

what you can do is run the host protection package that is provided in the stirling beta 2 package in the client folder
the antimakware engine will run but will deplay an error for not being able to contact the server

otherwise what i did was deploy the Fsysagentpackage by pointing it to the mom 2005 installation used for FCS 1.0

    cheers

    Hello!
HitchB52 is correct for the near term (including Beta 2 release today - Apr 16, 2009).  With our RC release, we will have a single FCS client package that will support the ability to install everything except the Operations Manager 2007/R2 agent.  In FCS v1, this was the /NOMOM switch.  Stirling will call it /NoOpsMgr switch

    Thanks

When is the RC release due out?  Thanks... I am looking to do some standalone client installations.
