Hi,
I have been having problems installing beta2 for several weeks now, and cannot proceed any further. All my problems seems to be SQL related.
My environment consists of the following:
Windows Server 2008 Standard x64 (build 6001: Service Pack 1)
Operations Manager 2007 R2 RTM
SQL Server 2005 Enterprise SP3 (9.0.4035)
All Stirling prerequsites have been met.
I have installed Windows using a EN-US locale.
SQL is configured to use a SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS collation.
I am trying to install a Basic stirling deployment will all roles on single box for initial testing.
The install fails when trying to install the "Installs Stirling server component" component with the following error:
Error 26203. Failed to connect to SQL database. (-2147467259 ForefrontSecuritySuite)
Clicking on More... produces a log file which can be found here: http://cid-a2e64de91bfcad09.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/StirlingErrorLog26203.txt
I have managed to progress the installation by manually created the ForefrontSecuritySuite database (and other default Stirling databases) but it then fails at a later stage with the following error:
Error 26204. Error -214217865: failed to execute SQL string error detail: Invalid object name 'vwESAS_ActiveAssessment' ...
Clicking on More... produces a log file that can be found here: http://cid-a2e64de91bfcad09.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/StirlingErrorLog26204.txt
Can someone please help or provide further things to check?
Thanks
JJ
P.S. As I am an MVP, I have also tried the latest Stirling beta2 refresh code available via Connect, but this produces the same errors as above.
