If that fixes the problem, then the monitor is bad and win7 is not at fault.<br/> <br/> If that doesn't help, use another graphics card. If that has the same problems, then your graphics card or drivers is the problem. If the external monitor runs fine with no glitches, then your laptop's LCD screen is bad and needs replacement.<br/><hr class="sig">Hello! I am operating a Lenovo X200 Tablet. My graphics card is an Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. I am having the same problem when using the drivers from the intel site... AND the drivers downloaded from lenovo's site... Would post screen shots if possible. Or would send screen shots so people can see what is happening.... When opening programs and swapping windows around it leaves horizontal line fragments. Its really weird.
