WinSrv2012 Public network become private and private become public problem

    Question

  • I have a 3 servers with Windows Server 2012. After restart off servers : public network become private and private network become public. (2 NIC)

    I don't know how this can happen and how to fix it ? I have tried to set Network Location Awareness to delayed automatic and restart all 3 machines without success.

    Can you help please ?

    How the servers get their IP addresses?  

    I would appreciate it if you can provide the topology of your network.

    You can run “ipconfig /all”.

    I have put IP addresses on private network like 192.168.xx.xx ,192.168.xx.xx ...
    On second NIC servers have static IP adresses. I do not now how these addresses are obtained.

    Are the static IPs public IPs?

    So I guess you meant it should be a public network but after restart it became private network.

    You can check the event logs to see if any errors.
