Need some help... I had to rebuild a User Profile service application, which turned into an all day affair. I've recreated the web app, site collection, content db, UPS app, and resync'd with our directory. The only problem now is that a user is unable to upload profile pictures from the EditProfile.aspx page. I'm receiving the following error with the upload message loads:
Your personal site does not contain a picture library named 'Pictures'.
I'm confused why it would be looking for a personal site when it should be storing the pictures in the root Profile Photo library. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
hi, when you edit your profile in mysite and update the profile picture, the user profile picture you uploaded will be pushed to User Photo library in my site http://servername/my/User%20Photos. my is mysite u might need to change it accordingly to you r setup

it seems that you are missing MySite settings in the UPS configuration. You need to provide MySite Host URL, even if you are not planning to use MySites, still some profile data is stored there.

Hey. Thanks for the suggestion but the mysite host created at the root of it's own web application http://mysite.domain.com. The picture library is at:
This all worked originally. Now after rebuilding, it's like the feature for uploading photo's is configured incorrectly. Where would the MySite Host be configured in the system other than the "Setup My Sites" menu of the ManageUserProfileServiceApplication.aspx page?
