Installation App-v client via GPO: install dr watson/error reporting not working
-
Tuesday, June 12, 2012 9:45 AMHi,
I found this youtube movie to automate installation of App-v clients.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=486e8aFG1RE
However, I can't make the error reporting to install correctly. I'm trying now without GPO, but it aborts during install (fresh installed server), whatever I do.
When I install it via the setup of App-v, it installs correctly, without, not.
I've read about adding parameters, but the youtube movie doesn't mention it and I cannot assign it to via GPO.
Please advise.
J.

Check that third link from Znack's post above:

This post shows you all the prereqs that need to be installed before you can install just the MSI. The EXE will install all of the prereqs for you, but if you choose the msi, you must do it manually. There are four of them that need to be installed before the the MSI will install properly.
