MS App Virt Sequencer Error
- I get the following error at the beginning of Step 7 of 7 in Sequencer:
Unable to apply security descriptor on UserSettings directory.
Error 122: The data area passed to a system call is too small.
It happens when I point the package to the content directory on the Streaming server. If I choose a different directory it goes through the Sequencer fine. Which brings up another question. Can I point it to a different directory and then move it to my content location, or will that mess up the package? We are using a Management server with APP-V 4.5 on Server 2008 SP1. The database is on a Server 2003 server running SQL 2005 Enterprise. The Streaming server is on Server 2008 SP1. Thanks in advance for any help!

Does that mean you are creating the 8.3 folder (Mount point) directly on the content share?- Hello,
I would save the package locally (if I am correct in what you do) and then copy it to the content-share.
/Znack If you are indeed creating your package root directory on content -share, stop now!
The root directory, prompted by the Sequencing Wizard, always has to go on the root of the Q: drive on Sequencer machine.
