Upgraded Server 2008 SP2 to Server 2008 R2 Microsoft Application Virtualization server now fails to start.
- I have Upgraded Server 2008 SP2 to Server 2008 R2 Microsoft Application Virtualization server now fails to star. Here is the error codes I get: (I have replaced the server name with XXXXXX for security). The server is running Server 2008 R2 upgraded from Server 2008 both Enterprise Editions. This server is running on a Server 2008 Hyper-V Host.

Also when I stop the service I get the following error:

I have looked at permissions and turned off User account control but with no avail, any help would be greatly appreciated.

- Hello,
For Win7 support (or official..) there will be a SP1-release, perhaps this will include support for 2k8 R2 aswell?

- Had the same issue. Uninstalled the Application Virtualization Management Server, and the issue resolved itself. At the time, this was the only article on the web about this error.
