  • Hi ,

    Do you have any calculation regard to that dimension ? by levels or attributes ? if so, try the dynamic set fot the 'All' member . Otherwise, can you share some details about the fact/dim from the granularity and relations aspect ?

  • Hi David, We do not have any calculation. We have only direct measure which device count. I have Fan redundancy dimension and Server Fact table. Between these We have many to many relationship. How can I create dynamic set. If you don't mind please give me a example.

    Thanks & Regards Rajeee

  • Hi ,

    Please refer to the next (great !!) link of Mosha's about the Dynamic sets : http://sqlblog.com/blogs/mosha/archive/2007/08/25/mdx-in-katmai-dynamic-named-sets.aspx

    Just a simple syntax example :

    Create DYNAMIC set CURRENTCUBE.[DynamicSet]
    As{Filter([Dim Fan].[Fan_Hir].[Fan Items].members,[Dim Fan].[Fan_Hir].CURRENTMEMBER)};

    scope([Measures].[Actual],[Dim Fan].[Fan_Hir].[All]);
    this=  Sum(EXISTS([Dim Fan].[Fan_Hir].CURRENTMEMBER.children,DynamicSet),[Measures].[Actual]);
    end scope;

    Hope it helps :)

    Regards, David .
