  • No, its only supported under 2008R2 for several reasons, remember UAG has other components as TMG 2010 which is deprecated.

I would recommend you to go for the 2012R2 Direct Access and New WAP reverse Proxy.

    Thanks

  • Thanks. I heard that UAG is soon to be end of life just like TMG? Is this true? Can you get the same features using Windows Server 2012 R2 that we could get in UAG?

  • Hi,

WAP provide only a subset of UAG capabilities (only publish HTTPS for example). Advanced scenarios as available in UAG cannot be reproduced at present time (eg : SSO between published applications; host checker, ...). WAP is a young technology. Maybe we'll see new supported scenarios somedays.

  • Yes, UAG is EOL and has been discontinued (not surprisingly). In Windows Server 2012 you can get a very limited proxy functionality. Not even close to either TMG or UAG. See http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn383650.aspx for your options.
