    Question

  • Hi All,

Can we host the workflow manager and service bus in SharePoint 2013 on-prem. have anyone tried it? in  case of office 365, where will be the workflow manager deployed? if in this case wokflow manager & service bus will be deployed in Azure, do we need to purchase this seperate or it will be part of office 365?

  • Yes you can deploy workflow manager in a SharePoint 2013 on-premises installation.  Here's a set of articles that discuss how:

In Office 365 I'm pretty sure MS has installed it in Azure, but you don't need to purchase an additional license.  You can use it from Office 365 based on your regular license.
