CSS and WebParts

    Question

  • I have a small css that changes some of the webparts.  However it changes all the webparts,  I do not want some of them changed.  Do you add in additional webparts, change the webpart numbers.  For example

I have WP$ that has an outside border on one page, on the other page I do not want the border.

     What should be done.

  • Are these separate sites? If yes then one way you can achieve that is to use separate master page. If these are separate page then just insert the Content Editor Web Part on the page and then use your CSS on that CEWP.

  • No all on the same site.

    3 different pages

each has 2 to 3 webparts

    wp2

    wp3

    wp4

on page  1 I want wp2 to have a box around it

on page 2 I want wp2 to not have a box around it

  • Yeah then I think on Page 1 drop the Content Editor Web Part and insert your CSS in there.

Here is the example. You will replace your CSS in there.

You can make your content editor web part Hidden. When you edit the web part there is a checkbox for hidden
