Answertags not reaching the process

    Hi all,

     

    I am able to view tags from device(alien 9650) but I dont see them in the process. I played aroud with custom settings, notifications but nothings seems to work. What could be the reason?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestion. The real problem was I did not add exceptions to the firewall. Once that was done, my process started receving the tag reads.

    Hi Seshadri,

    There could be several reasons for this situation.  Please see troubleshooting sections in the Alien Device Deployment document.

    Most common are:

    • NotifyTime = 0 (change to > 0)
    • Event Mode checkbox not checked (check it)
    • Process is not bound to the device (bind it)
    • Process is not started (start it)
    • etc.

    If nothing helps, please send me (vshkolnikovATalientechnology.com) the Alien.log file related to the time of failure.
