Internal Resource Publishing: Redirecting with IIS

    General discussion

  • Hello!

Есть необходимость сделать внутренние ресурсы доступными из глобальной сети Интернет.

I need to make internal services (like portal, mail, etc) avalible from Internet.

I have one IP from ISP, adn a few records in external domain settings:

    mail.domain.kiev.ua  A  195.39.196.42
    portal.domain.kiev.ua  A  195.39.196.42

My gateway maps http trafic from 195.39.196.42 to internal web server web.domain.local

    Internal DNS zones & records:

    Zone domain.kiev.ua
    mail.domain.kiev.ua  A 192.168.39.3
    portal.domain.kiev.ua A 192.168.39.3
    web.domain.kiev.ua A 192.168.39.3

    Zone domain.local
    mail.domain.local  A 192.168.39.5
    portal.domain.local A 192.168.39.4
    web.domain.local A 192.168.39.3

    Purpose is:

When user from Internet (home, hotel, free WiFi, etc) goes to http://mail.domain.kiev.ua this request must be processed to internal mail server mail.domain.local

Gateway is already bought, so TMG or UAG wouldn't be used.

Is it possible with IIS, or I need to use Apache Virtual Hosts?

    Thanks!
