Lync 2013 Client showing incorrect away time.

    Question

  • Hey all,

I've got one that is confusing me and hopefully someone has seen this before.  I just installed a Lync 2013 Server and only have the FrontEnd up and running at this point for internal Lync communications.  However, when someone changes their status to "OFF WORK" it show's the incorrect away time.  Example, I have a user who left at 3pm today, the time is 3:53pm, but next to her name it states, "Off Work - 6hrs"  Any ideas?  Time on server is correct and time on workstation is also correct.

    Thanks for the help!/
    Chris

  • Hi,

I just tested the issue on my machine. It seems that it is by design. After off work 5 mins, change it to available/busy/Do not disturb then change it to off work again. It shows office work 6 minus. The off work time is summation of several off work. But when you change the presence to Appear away or re-login, the off work time could be cleared.
