    Hey all,

Recently I've been running into this error when I try to connect to some computers using Remote Tools.  The connection appears to connect, the screen goes black, then it goes back to disconnected with no error message.  I cropped the following from the clients RemoteControl.log file but there is only the one error message and I can't find any reference to this, other than some mentions of sharing printers which has nothing to do with SCCM.  I'm able to use Remote Desktop to connect to these very some PCs, and I can use Remote Tools to connect to other PCs.  Any ideas?

Had this problem with one machine and noticed the post above, so I downloaded the latest driver for my Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS driver (old driver dated 9/18/2008).

After the update Remote Tools worked fine.  Doesn't make sense to get an RDP error like that in the log, but it worked.

Sorry, not experienced it, so I'd suggest contacting CSS.

Did you see my response? It was to contact CSS. I've not heard of it before, and given that no one else had any thoughts to respond to the original post with for over a month, I'm guessing no one else has seen it either.

Please do open a case with CSS, and then post back the resolution here for others in the event they run into it.

CD Shiver did you ever figure out why this was happening.  We are having the same issue with PCs in remote locations.  Thanks for any input.

No, I'm sorry, but I haven't made any progress with this at all.

    Hi,

Got a tips that the videocard driver maybe the problem here. I have not updated the drivers on the computer I get the error message from, but will try it out.
