    Hi,  I try to install the SCCM Admin Console on a server that use the PXE SCCM Site System, but i'm unable to install it.

    When I launch the the installation, I receive the message:

    Setup has detected that this com^puter is a site system for an existing site.  Configuration Manager components cannot be installed on this computer.

    This is by design behavior. Is there a reason you must install the admin console on this system?

    So the answser is no. We would not support you having the console installed first, then making that system a site system. The admin console is only supported on:

    * Primary site servers (not secondary site servers)
    * Non-site systems

    So any other computer that meets the requirements in the supported configs docs is supported.

    Hi,

    If I install SCCM Console before I assign the site system role, then is there possible? For the SCCM Server, it can install SCCM console. I just dont understand why other site system couldn't.

    I second Jason's question: Why is there a need to install a console on a remote site system?

    The reason I need to install a console on a remote site system, is because of the site system has internet connection which enable me to download the software update files.

    Why not use your workstation for this activity?
