AnswerRemote Tools "Unable to connect"

If I remote into my site server I can successfully start remote tools on client systems.  However, using the same credentials, the admin console simply states "Unable to connect".  I have set the dcom permissions as Microsoft suggests (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb633148.aspx).  The log files on the client system will show successful connections from the site server, but no trace of connections from the admin console.  I have also tried disabling the antivirus on the site server (firewall has been turned off).

The piece of this puzzle I find interesting is this:  When I am at computer X with admin console installed, I can choose computer X from the list and successfully initiate remote tools.  Same with systems Y, and Z with admin console, remoting into themselves.  However no such luck remoting from computer X, to Y, or any other combination.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
