AnswerScript error when accessing the SCCM homepage

    I'm getting an IE error when accessing the SCCM homepage in the console, details as follows;

    'An error has occured in the script on this page

    Line: 2
    Char: 7
    Error: Invalid Character
    Code: 0
    URL: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/configmgr/default.asp'

    Interestingly I get the same error when trying to access that URL directly from a browser, which makes me think it's not a console issue, but maybe to do with IE or security settings... has anyone else come across this? I'm sure there's probably an easy fix, but have been unable to find anything, and as it's not really impacting as such I don't want to raise a PSS call for it. Same error whether I use a standard or admin account, and also whether on a workstation or server.

    Thanks,
    Stephen

    This has to do with local security settings on the system you are browsing from, Enhanced IE security is the likely culprit, or maybe the version of IE that you are running or your proxy server. I can hit that page from IE8 and Firefox without issue.

    Thanks Jason, I think I'll pass this one over to the Web experts to deal with...
