Hi -
We are using SCCM 2007 SP1 R2 on Windows 2003 SP2 R2 (64-bit) server.
We have few major problems with our Asset Intelligence Reports:
1) REPORT "Software 01A - Summary of installed software in a specific collection" shows all Windows XP Service Pack 3 as Windows XP Service Pack 2
2) REPORT "License 01A - Microsoft license ledger for Microsoft License Statements" does not list Microsoft Windows XP Professional as a License product no matter what channel code is used.
3) REPORT "License 01A - Microsoft license ledger for Microsoft License Statements" shows all Microsoft Office 2003 Professional/standard as Microsoft Office Professional/Standard Plus 2007
4) REPORT "Software 02A - Software Families" shows three families namely Unidentified, Uncategorized and Unknown. What is the basis used by SCCM for assigning a family/category to the installed software as the unidentified family contains many identified softwares from Adobe, HP, MCafee and other vendors.
5) REPORT "Software 01A - Summary of installed software in a specific collection" shows totally different versions for installed Office 2003 software than mentioned in Microsoft Article which can be found at the link below.
How to check the version of Office 2003 products
