    Is it possible to get the Product key of Adobe Acrobat 8 from v_GS_INSTALLED_SOFTWARE_CATEGORIZED or any other views within the SCCM database?

    Where is that key stored on the computer? Registry? Wmi?

    Hi,

    Most likely not as the software vendors don't save the product keys in readable format as it would be to easy to locate them.

    The keys are stored in WMI and I was thinking this might be a straight forward thing to do but have realised that it is not straight forward after going through the article that Jorgen sent.

    Hence I will have to put this in the parking lot for the time being and look at this later on.
