I hope someone will be able to help me out with my problem.  It seems that all the Asset Intelligence Reports are missing from my SCCM installation.  If i try to run one from a cliet with the console installed, nothing happens.  If i try to run the reports from the server, i get the following message:

"Unable to Launch the report '***' because it does not exist on the report server or the report server is unavailable.

Any ideas on this?  I have the reporting point set up and configured.  Any help would be appreciated.

Since Classic reporting is working from a different console (not the one on the server), I'm guessing that you perhaps have inadvertently told the Console on the server to use SRS reporting--which isn't working right (apparently).

To reset that, on your Console on the Server, right-click "Site Database (Your Description)", the one near the top, and click on "Report Options".  I'm guessing you have "Use Reporting Services Reports for Admin console report links" checked on.  Check it off.

The second issue might be harder to troubleshoot; but it sounds like either SQL Reporting Services isn't installed right, or security rights aren't setup right.  But that you could work on later, after you confirm regular reports now work the way you expect.

Not having the reports vs. not being able to run them are different things.

Based on if you mean the reports aren't on your SRS Reporting Site, vs. you mean the reports aren't on your classic Reporting Point (SMSreporting_sitecode), there is a different answer to getting the reports to at least be listed.

If you mean the reports simply don't run, but they do exist/are listed, that might need more troubleshooting.

So... SRS or old-style reporting is missing the reports?

Well the report work if i run them from the old-style, but i get that error message when i try to run them from under the Asset Intelligence Section.  I'm not sure why I am getting that error.

    I'm still a bit lost.

They run fine if you go to Console, Reporting, Reports, pick a report and run it?
But do not if you go to http://YourServername/SMSReporting_siteCode, +Asset Intelligence?
Or they do not if you go to http://YourSQLReportingServicesSite/YourSRSSiteReports, Asset Intelligence?

Regardless, what I wanted to suggest was that if you can't run them from classic reporting (smsreporting_sitecode), from your lab (everyone has a lab, right ;-) , export the reports you want to use to an export .mof reporting file, and then import them into your production; and then see if your newly imported AI reports run.

If it's not classic reporting but is SRS that is the issue, you can try going to Reporting, Reporting Services, right-clicking SRS Server, and "copy Reports to Reporting Services", and copy or re-copy some AI reports into SRS.

Let me take a shot at better explaining it.

If i open the console on my pc, then go to Computer Management --> Asset Intelligence --> Asset Intelligence Reports and right click on any report and choose run, nothing happens.

If i do the same thing from the server i get the error message from my first post. "Unable to Launch the report '***' because it does not exist on the report server or the report server is unavailable."

If i go under Computer Management --> Reporting --> reports brom the server or my PC all the reports work.

If i go under Computer Management --> Reporting --> reporting services on the Server and try to copy the reports, it will not let me, i cant type anything in the box and everything is greyed out.
