    Ive set the SCCM Site backup task to run on sunday between 3:30am and 4:30am but in the logs (which SCOM is reporting on for me) i have a hourly event showing the SMS_SITE_BACKUP failed :-

    A new monitored SMS status message on machine BACVSSCCM01 from component SMS_SITE_BACKUP with message ID 5049 was found in the site BNE database.

    Does anyone know why this is coming up hourly when its not set to run that way?

    See smsbkup.log if there's anything happening at that point of time. If not: blame OpsMgr.

    Yeah agreed, the files in the path which im backing up to hasnt changed since the last successful one, so the smsbkup.log on that share hasnt changed since 14/9 so it doesnt look like its actually doing it.  And in SCCM in the Component Status if i right click on the SMS_SITE_BACKUP component there are no errors shown there so im thinking Ops Manager being silly which is annoying....
