    Hi Fabio,

I use this freeare tool to create my MSI packages - http://blog.coretech.dk/confmgr07/coretech-sccm-manager-103-%E2%80%93-freeware-download/

But whenever I have a new package that I haven't seen before I always use http://appdeploy.com to find the specific information on the package. It's a great community dedicated to software deployment.

Not much tgo add to what Kent has to say except the built-in new package from definition works very well to import MSIs. It fully populates the package with information from the MSI and creates six programs for you -- three for per-system and three for per-user installs.

Not much else to say. What kind of information are you looking for specifically?

Really, this forum is for questions/suggestions on the documentation that comes with Configuration Manager, or that we provide on our web site. It isn't really for asking for best practices or external documentation :-)

For that, you could ask in the Software Distribution forum, though as already stated by others, we (being Configuration Manager) don't really care. If you can deploy it from a command line, you should be able to deploy it using Configuration Manager.
