Complete list of status messages in SCCM?
- Hey.
I've been searching for quite a while now for a complete list of all the status messages and what they mean for SCCM but haven't found any. Is there any such information available? Im updating some documents we had for SMS 2.0 to SCCM since we (finally) upgraded our system.
What we have in the old documents are like this:
Table SMS Advertised Programs Client Agent (Message IDs 10000 to 10021)
Message
ID
Severity
Message Text
10000
Error
A data integrity error was detected for advertisement %1 (%2%1 .ofr).
Possible cause: The advertisement (.ofr) file on this client access point ( CAP ) is missing, corrupt, or lacking data. The advertisement will not be run or displayed to users.
Solution: Modify the specified advertisement in the SMS Administrator console to force Offer Manager to update (rewrite) the advertisement files. Wait for Inbox Manager to replicate the change to the CAPs throughout the site before refreshing the list of advertised programs on the client (press F5 in the Advertised Programs Monitor). If the problem persists, check for disk problems on the CAP or for other external causes of file corruption.
10001
Error
A data integrity error was detected for package %1 (%2%1 .pkg).
Possible cause: The package (.pkg) or network location (.nal) file on this client access point ( CAP ) is missing, corrupt, or lacking data. Advertisements for the package’s programs will not be run or displayed to users until the file can be read successfully.
Solution: Modify the specified package or one of its programs to force SMS Distribution Manager to update (rewrite) the package files. Wait for SMS Inbox Manager to replicate the change to the CAPs throughout the site before refreshing the list of advertised programs on the client (press F5 in the Advertised Programs Monitor). If the problem persists, check for disk problems on the CAP or for other external causes of file corruption.
I'm hoping there is something like that available also for SCCM. Thanks!

- You need "mad skills" to retrieve them ;-) Number2 has something on his blog: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jnelson/archive/2008/05/21/117428.aspx

Have you seen this within the ConfigMgr docs?

Yes, I've seen that document, but its not with the error codes that can appear in status messages, they were all mobile devices. - You need "mad skills" to retrieve them ;-) Number2 has something on his blog: http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jnelson/archive/2008/05/21/117428.aspx

- Thank you for your post.
I'll try that solution, else I suppose I just skip it in our documentation.
