    Hi guys,

I have recently installed SCCM 2007 in a test enviroment and now I looking to test unistalling professional with office standard as this will need to be done a larger scale in the coming months. Does anybody have any idea of whats invovled. Sorry this is probally a basic question but I am totally new to this package.
We had a microsoft tech down with us a few months back but unfortunately I was not around at the time but it does appear to be working as he tested pushing out other apps successfully.
    Any help would be great.

    Hi,

You create a Office 2007 package and import it into ConfigMgr. Then create a program like this setup.exe /uninstall ProPlus /config config.xml. You can use this guide to create and import the package in to ConfigMgr. - http://blog.coretech.dk/confmgr07/office-2007-deployment/deploy-microsoft-office-2007-with-configuration-manager-2007/

I would use a task sequence (don't get confused with OS deployment) to check for the pro version, if it's there uninstall and install the std version.
