QuestionDMZ clients not installing......

    Hi,
Im hoping this is a simple question! I have several clients in a discreet (firewalled) network (similar to a DMZ), in a different domain to the primary site server (but same forest). Do I need to install a secondary or primary site server in this domain as only the server is allowed to communicate through the firewall. Im hoping I only need a secondary , but if needs must......  (AD extended).
    Thanks

    Kim

A secondary site can be installed in that case (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb694003.aspx)
What do you mean with "DMZ clients not installing"? Are you seeing any errors?

    Hi Torsten,

I have a client in the discreet network that is not installing - it says it cant find its assigned site from AD but has found the location of the SLP (that must be a contradiction). However the SLP is behind the firewall so it is never going to contact it. (Not that it should be looking for it in the first place).  Your link above, by the way, refers to cross forest issues - these clients are all in the same forest - just 2 different domains.
