    I'm building SCCM2012 on Windows server2012 ,and I don't know it's ADK or WAIK is needed ?

    ADK (1.0) is essentially the updated version of WAIK and adds Win8 and Server 2012 deployment.

    Each version of ConfigMgr has its own requirement.

    ConfigMgr 2012 RTM requires WAIK 2.0 (which is the version that added support for Win 7 and Server 2008 R2 deployment). Note that ConfigMgr 2012 automatically installs WAIK 2.0 during setup. It is not supported to use any other version.

    ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 requires ADK 1.0. SP1 setup does not automatically install the ADK, you must do this manually before installing SP1 (and manually uninstall any version of the WAIK that is installed).
