    hello !
i am now performing Side-by-Side migration from a single SMS site to a new SCCM 2007 SP1 R2 system .
i installed a  new SCCM server and attached the SMS 2003 as a Child Site.
the new SCCM site is polished to AD and SMS 2003 is no more published.
schema has been extended . also the boundaries has been removed from the SMS 2003 and configured in the new SCCM site .
i can see now that client push is working and some computers appear in the admin console as approved and with the new site code of the SCCM.
the SMS 2003 clients is also managed from the SCCM admin console and going good for example the helpdesk team can remote control of them from the new SCCM 2007 console .
now, i want to ask why the Client push don't upgrade the existing SMS 2003 client even if i do right  click on a computer and add install client from the console ??
i also try to deploy a new advertisement and it's not work ! client received the program but don't install it ..,

    any one can help ??

Treat this as any other failed advertisement.  On those SMS2003 clients, look at the local logs, like cas.log, execmgr.log; and see why they aren't able to run the advertisement.

What about advertisement status?  Anything there at the console?

    Standardize. Simplify. Automate.
