How do I tell what driver is already in SCCM Computer Management Drivers?

I'm trying to do a driver import into SCCM. I have HP DC5000M and DC7900C drivers imported. When I tried to import our HP DC7600C drivers, all but a few installed. A message reported that we already had the drivers added elsewhere. Those drivers were:

dc7600\chipset\xp\sp\esb2id2.inf, ich5id2, ich6id2, ich7id2, ich8id.

I need to figure out what these are so I can add them to the DC7600C category. My problem is that I see the all of the drivers in SCCM with what they actually are and not what is in the inf files.

When I did finally look into the INF file, I saw that they were IDE, EIDE, SATA controllers. But...even then, I still don't know what the "Name" would be in SCCM Drivers.

I'm still new to this, so please forgive my horrible terminology.

You can add a column to the driver display area called driver source path (I think). This column will show you exactly where the driver was originally imported from which should help you figure out which is which. Simply click on the header of the list (or the view menu at the top) and select add/remove columns.

I found it! It's "Content Source Path". Now, it shows me what folder it's in, but I don't see what the actual file is that is being "shared". I got to see if I can find out what "Name" won't import because it's already in SCCM so I can add that file to another category.

How do I locate that kind of info?

One question that comes to mind is that although I do support using categories to indicate which hardware platform the driver is for, are you actually filtering by hardware category? If not, is it really worth the effort? If you are, why are you filtering by category? As long as a driver loads and functions, does it really matter where it came from?

I think I got it! I add a view that read "INF File" and it showed the files. I'm going ot verify this and come back.

We are filtering by category ATM. We just started using SCCM and I'm trying to get it all sorted out in the easiest fashion. What do you do?
