I want to use the whenChanged AD attribute in ConfigMgr 2012 System Discovery.  We had this attribute in our 2007 environment.

It shows up in the 2007 environment in a different date format like 3/5/2013 12:17:36 PM

In the 2012 environment it show up in this format 20130303111556.00000+***

I believe the format was changed in the table soemwhere in our 2007 database.  Does anyone know how to do this? what needs to be changed?

    Thanks

Hmm, I wouldn't touch it.  Check with Microsoft... But I'm pretty sure cm12 uses that for some of the delta discoveries.

I expect you perhaps have processes from cm07 which used that attribute in the other format, bit I think you will want to change, instead of attempting to change the format in the db (which would be unsupported, and on top of that, possibly detrimental to how cm 12 works.

You may want to call and confirm though.
