    HI

I'm troubleshooting some of the workstation  and I noticed the "BITS" services is not running .

     Question ?

     1. what is the cause if BITS not working ?

    2. Can I get the hardware/software inventory even BITS is not running ?

If BITS is disabled then it will try to use SMB to download packages.

You don't need BITS to download policies.. You have another problem if this the case.
