AnswerCapture reference machine query

At the moment i'm trying to automate our current manual image build process. As part of the process you have to run up a couple of applications installed on the machine and then close them before running the sysprep. Running these apps in a specific order helps with registering of files etc etc. The image is then captured using Ghost (i obviously want to use SCCM).

Is it possible as part of my build and capture TS that the apps can be opend and closed?

You can build a machine using the Build part of the default Build and Capture Task Sequence. Then make the changes needed and capture the machine using the Capture part of the default Build and Capture Task Sequence (or use a Capture CD).

So you are suggesting that i break up my TS into two stages the build and capture (both being their own TS). So once the build part has finished i can advertise the capture part to the reference machine.

    Nice.
