QuestionMissing Boot Images in Config Manager 2007?

I was getting ready to play with OSD in Config 2007 and then noticed that my Boot Images are not there.

So if I go to Config Manager -> Computer Managment -> Operating System Demployment -> Boot Images i see nothing except "There are no items to show in this view". I also went directly to the directory and found nothing.

How can I restore those? Can I download them again? I tried Sustem Repair but I don't think that would take me anywhere since it asked to restore to a previous point. However, I am really not sure when I lost it. Any ideas?

Just (re-)create them manually. The .wim files are located here:
    \\siteserver\SMS_xxx\osd\boot\i386\boot.wim
    \\siteserver\SMS_xxx\osd\boot\x64\boot.wim

Well, part of my problem that they are not there either.

So I decided to create my own from scratch but after reading too much documentation I got lost. I am really confused as to how to get\create boot images for Windows XP into Configuration Manager 2007. I read, and read, and read, but I am just not getting it. Can anyone put it in simple English please?

Yes, nothing changed. We have SCCM 2007 Sp1 by the way.

    1. Would Config Manager Repair help out with this issue?
    2. Can I download those images from somewhere and import them into Config Mgmr 2007?
    3. Any other ideas?

    Any help is well appreciated.
