Hi,
I have an issue with reporting point after i restart my SQL server. On SCCM server, the error message were " SMS Site Component manager failed to install this component on this site system. Solution: review the status messages to determine the exact reason for the failure. SMS site component manager will automatically retry the installation in 60 minutes"
Where can i check the status messages?
Second error messages: " SMS Site Component Manage could not copy file C:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\bin\i386\reportinginstall.exe" to SQL server ....... "
"SMS site component manager could not copy file ....... i386\rpsetup.exe to SQL Server ... "
Can anyone give me idea to troubleshoot this ? Thanks
Regards,

Hi,
On my SCCM server, i unable to find rsetup.log. Sitecomp.log only show that rpsetup.exe and reportinginstall.exe not able to move to SQL server. Is it i need to manually install these 2 execution file at SQL server?
Here is the message i get from sitecomp.log

Have you tried rebooting the site server box? Is the administrative share disabled ?"Could not move file \\MLSQL\L$\SMS\bin\i386\rpsetup.exe to \\MLSQL\L$\SMS\bin\i386\_@103.tmp. Yes, i can access \\mlsql\L$ with no problem at all. I also try manually install rpsetup.exe and reportinginstall.exe , but the reportinginstall.exe came out an error say i do not have global.asa.
