Memory Sccm and managed code

Hi
We are using a mix between managed code c# and Vb scripts to perform integration and changes for Sccm Sp1

Ex, adding/removing computer objects as direct members to collections. Syncronize package, program, collection info to other SQL etc.

Now and then the mmc console stops responding, (no exact time table interval between incidents). Most of the times a restart of the WMI service resolves the issue. if not a reboot of the server is needed.

No specific solution is presented when searcing for MMC and console related errors.

I suspect that this might be the case

Question:
1. Could this be the issue with the console becomming unresponsive
2. If so, can I check if thats the case, (memory leak application finder, wmi trace log, etc etc)
- I have no access to source code

Env:
Sccm 2007 Sp1 / R2
Sql 2005 Sp3
Windows Srv std x64 12GB RAM
