We are getting error code 2147749889 when this update is trying to create the package for KB2263826, we have checked permissions but the account had full rights. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks in advanced

Thursday, March 22, 2012 12:34 PMYes, as we are using Windows 2008 R2 - this is always our standard process. The one thing we notice as we ran it kick us out of the RDP, does it matter how we are logged on.

In addition to the MSP log file Bechir referenced, you may want to check the smsprov.log, as the 2147749889 error code is a generic WMI failure (WBEM_E_FAILED) - since you mentioned this occured as the hotfix was creating the installation package, this is likely provider related.
