    Hi,

Currently I tried to push sccm client to Domain controller, I have ticked the Domain Controller on Push Client Deployment setting. I realise the admin$ and c$ have been disabled. If I install the sccm client manually and share the CCM folder to everyone, in this case, can SCCM work?

Anything else need to set to install sccm client on Domain controller?

There's a need for admin$ when using client push. Manual installation should work, but there's no need the share CCM? Why would you do that?

If I install manually and admin$ is not exist, then how am I going to copy the files from DP to client's cache since I have no access to admin$? That's the reason I want to share CCM folder.

Which files? What for? A ConfigMgr client never needs to access admin$ on a site system or another client.

    Hi,

For example, when we try to push software package and software update to the client, I believe SCCM client will download the files from DP to Cache folder, so in this case, do we need any access & write permission for the folder?

So are you saying that admiN$ is only required during push client from SCCM Console?
